My Story
Matt has over 25 years of experience working within major PLC house builders, and up until 2013 was the Land and Planning Director at Cala Homes (Midlands) for a period of 8 years creating a land bank in excess of over 2,500 plots.
After leaving University Matt played professional rugby for Nottingham, Coventry and Birmingham Bees. Given the synergy between rugby and property, this has assisted him greatly in building an extensive network in the property sector.
In 2013, Matt was one of the founding Directors of Greenlight Developments, a land promotion business with a genuine 100% record in planning success. Since 2013, under Matt's guidance, Greenlight Developments have secured a land bank of over 2,000plots, securing planning permission for over 600 plots and Local Plan allocations for more than 1,200 plots.
Matt's experience ranges from standard Option Agreements to Promotion Agreements, which range in size from 5 bespoke executive-style houses to major urban extensions up to 1300 units. His network of contacts is far-ranging he's often called upon to facilitate meetings with Senior Leaders and Politicians within Local Authorities to assist in unlocking problematic sites on behalf of householders and land owners.
